Biography
  • I am a Senior Lecturer at Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) in the College of Health and Society and the Programme Lead for the Nursing Associate Apprenticeship. I am also an ECR+ champion, supporting early career researchers within the university.

My background is in adult nursing, and I have been a nurse for over fifteen years with experience across secondary, community, and primary care settings. My greatest accolade to date is being a Queen’s Nurse and a member of the Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI), which reflects my dedication and commitment to the nursing profession.

I am passionate about promoting inclusivity within nursing education and providing pastoral support to learners, ensuring that students feel supported and valued throughout their academic and professional journey. This commitment underpins my teaching philosophy and informs my research on inclusive pedagogy, wellbeing, and mentorship in higher education.
