This achievement reflects our commitment to delivering outstanding student experiences, with recognition across multiple categories, including 2nd place in the South East for student support and student life.

We have invested over £100 million in our facilities, so you have access to the latest industry-standard equipment and software. Sustainability

We’re the first UK uni to achieve a Gold award in a scheme which recognises sustainable and ethical organisations. We’ve also pledged to go carbon net zero by 2030 – ahead of the Government’s target.

We have a Students' Union which is ranked one of the Top 5 Students' Union's in the UK (based on responses from full-time taught BNU students NSS 2025.), and No.1 in the South East England (WUSCA 2025). Thanks to The Big Deal, our students enjoy free access to a wide range of activities. From competitive sports and societies to day trips, skills workshops, and fun events, there’s something for everyone. Plus, with savings of around £200 a month, students can make the most of their student life while learning and having fun!
