Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) has climbed an impressive eight positions to rank 106th out of 130 HEIs in the UK, following the publication of the Complete University Guide (CUG) 2025.
We also scored extremely well on student satisfaction, rising five ranks to an impressive eighth place in the UK, or fifth position for non-specialist providers. Furthermore, nine of our subjects were placed in the top-20 for student satisfaction.
BNU also performed strongly in relation to investment with our facilities spend rising an impressive 17 places, putting us in the top-10 in the UK, and first in London and the South East, illustrating our commitment to resourcing our future growth while supporting our Thrive 28 strategy. The new additions to our High Wycombe campus, the Atrium, Refectory, Student Hub, Winter Garden and Roof Garden, represent BNU’s commitment to accessibility, community, and student and learner wellbeing.
Addressing the rankings, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Professor Nick Braisby said:
‘We are delighted that BNU has climbed eight positions in this year's Complete University Guide and is now in the top-ten for student satisfaction in the UK. Ranking in the top-10 for our investment in facilities, first in London and the South East, further illustrates our commitment to continually improving the student experience, alongside our comprehensive student support package. It is testament to the hard work and dedication of our colleagues which has resulted in BNU's increased recognition in the sector today.’
