I have been an Associate Lecturer at Buckinghamshire New University since 2019, teaching modules such as Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Web Application Development for Data Scientists. I am passionate about bringing industry practice into the classroom, creating opportunities for students to engage with real-world tools, and preparing the next generation of data professionals for careers in a rapidly evolving field.

Alongside my academic work, I am a Data Architect at a well-known cancer support charity, where I design and implement modern data solutions to support decision-making, improve governance, and enhance services for people affected by cancer. My career spans software development, business analysis, data engineering, and consultancy, with a focus on bridging the gap between academia and industry to ensure data is used ethically, inclusively, and effectively.

I hold degrees in Computer Science (BSc) and Internet Systems & E-Commerce (MSc) from Durham University, as well as an MSc in Data Science from the University of Dundee. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
