Biography

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2017, I served in the Royal Air Force as a Logistics Officer working in a broad range of appointments specializing in operations, logistics and supply chain, air movements and transportation. I left the RAF in 2014 to join a fledgling defence consultancy enterprise, developing business and management processes to enable the company to grow into a firmly established company offering specialist capability development, and test & evaluation services. I worked at BNU as a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader until July 2024 when I opted to become an Associate Lecturer.

I studied for my MSc in Logistics Management at the University of Lincoln, graduating in 2013. I am a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. My specialist areas are business, management, aviation and logistics.

There have been many highlights during my 27-year military career, but perhaps the most memorable were escorting Prince William at a graduation parade for new recruits, and being the RAF representative on Remembrance Day in front of a capacity crowd at a Premier League football match.
