All guest tickets purchased include access to and refreshment tokens for the post ceremony celebration held in the Atrium at the High Wycombe Campus.

Award deadline

Deadline to have been made an award of the University by the Board of Examiners in order to attend July 2024 graduation.

Main deadline request a refund for tickets and gown hire

This deadline is applicable to anyone who has been made an award on or before the above award deadline. 

Final results day

Please note some students will be on courses that finish earlier so will have already received their results. This is the last results day to be eligible to attend July 2025 graduation. 

Request a ticket and gown refund only if you found out you were not made an award on above final results day. 

This deadline is only applicable to students who found out on the above final results day that they were not made an award and so are no longer eligible to attend July 2025 graduation.

• BNU student ID number
• Full name
• Date and time of your ceremony
• Your ticket and gown order details

Your refund can take until the end of August 2025 to be processed. 

Please note that only refund requests for those who received their results on Thursday 10 July 2025 will be processed this way. All other refund requests will need to have been processed via  by the main refund deadline date listed above.

Request to defer from July 2025 

Please note our next graduation is in September 2026 and you can only request to defer once. 

Please completing the online deferral form to request your deferral but note that completing the form does not guarantee your deferral. 

If you have already purchased tickets or booked your gown hire, please request refunds by the deadlines listed above. Bookings for tickets and gown hire cannot be transferred to alternative graduation ceremonies and refunds will not be issued after the above deadline.

Purchase any additional guest tickets

Extra tickets are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. The number you can book may be restricted and will be sold on a first come first served basis until tickets are sold out.

If extra tickets are available, they can be purchased on the day of your ceremony during your registration period. 

If available, extra tickets can be purchased in person at the Swan Theatre box office upon presentation of a valid graduating student ticket for that ceremony so you must register at the High Wycombe Campus first.
