Staff Profile

Theo Mukamuri
I hold an LLB (Hons) in Law, graduating with a First-Class Honours from Buckinghamshire New University in 2022, where I was honoured to serve as Valedictorian for the School of Business and Law. Following this, I completed my LLM Bar Practice Programme at the University of Hertfordshire, achieving a Distinction. I was called to the Bar of England and Wales by The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in November 2023.
I am the Advocacy Lead at Buckinghamshire New University Law School, where I work closely with the Mooting Society and Trial Advocacy Society to develop and enhance students’ practical legal skills. My role bridges theoretical foundations with hands-on experience, equipping future legal professionals with the tools needed for courtroom success.
In addition to my academic role, being a Barrister and County Court Advocate, brings real-world insights into my teaching. This dual perspective creates an engaging and active learning environment, ensuring students achieve both academic excellence and practical expertise. I am also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, reflecting my commitment to high-quality teaching and innovative pedagogy in legal education.
