Rawan Jafar
Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2022, I built a diverse architectural design and education career, working across various academic and professional roles.
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in architecture from the University of Jordan. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Architecture at Cardiff University, specializing in computational design and building performance, especially indoor air quality.
My area of interest is the impact of architecture on wellbeing. This field integrates design with the crucial task of improving people’s quality of life.
I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of professional bodies such as the Jordan Engineers Association and the Green Building Councils of Jordan and the US.
