Martin Matus Davis
Before joining Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) in 2022, I worked as a freelance animator in the music video production industry, where I created animations for various artists all around the world, including Dance with The Dead, Haken, Porcupine Tree and many more. I continue to work part time as a freelance animator to bring industry standard techniques to my teaching.
I am a BNU graduate in Animation and Visual Effects, and I now have returned as an associate lecturer on this programme. My specialist area is character animation, something that I have had a great passion for all of my life.
A highlight of my career was seeing my animation work on a grand screen at Wembley Stadium Arena during the last step of the Porcupine Tree tour in 2022.
