Ikra Ullah
I joined Buckinghamshire New University in September 2024 as a part of the Physician Associate team, bringing my experience and passion for healthcare to help shape the next generation of Physician Associates. Having recently completed my Master’s in Physician Associate Studies here at BNU, I’m excited to give back to the community that helped me grow into a confident and capable clinician. My journey from student to educator allows me to connect with new students in a meaningful way, sharing the lessons I've learned and encouraging them that, just like me, they too can succeed!
Before pursuing a career in medicine, I worked as an Associate Practitioner at Frimley Health Trust. One of the most rewarding experiences of my career thus far was contributing to the COVID-19 workforce during my time at the Lighthouse Laboratories, supporting the national effort for COVID testing.
I am also a proud member of the Faculty of Physician Associates (FPARCP).
In addition to my professional work, I am multilingual, with proficiency in three languages, which has enriched my ability to connect with diverse communities. Outside of work, I am a competitive tennis player, always looking for new challenges both on and off the court!
