Helen Ridlinton
Before I joined Buckinghamshire New University in 2022, I was working as an HE Business Lecturer in FE colleges, specialising in professional (CIM & CIPD) and Business Management qualifications. Prior to this, I had a varied business career working in strategic account management and marketing roles for British Steel and Sony, after 16 years I decided in 2007 that it was the right time to come into education.
I studied for my MBA at Warwick University in the early 2000’s where I developed a keen interest in business operations, project management and strategy . During my business career I worked with a number of large telecoms, technology and financial institutions including BT, IBM and Deutsche Bank which has further my knowledge and expertise as a business lecturer. My academic career has allowed me to extend this knowledge and develop my research opportunities.
I am a member of the APM and CMI and currently working towards my Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) status.
