Undergraduate Entry Requirements
Academic entry requirements
- We require successful completion of Senior School Certificate (with four subject passes at C6 or above) for courses with 88 – 112 tariff point
- We require successful completion of Senior School Certificate (with two subject passes at B and three at C or above) for courses with 100 - 128 tariff point
If you do not meet these requirements you may be eligible to study our foundation programme. Please send copies of your qualifications directly to us at admissions@bnu.ac.uk.
Mathematics entry requirements
Students need the equivalent of GCSE Mathematics grade C/4.
English entry requirements
Senior School Certificate with a grade of C6 or above, within the last 10 academic years
Postgraduate Entry Requirements
Academic entry requirements
We accept any of the following:
- A Bachelor degree with a 2:2 grade
- A Bachelor degree with a Second Class Honours (Lower Division) grade
- A Bachelor degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.5
*Please note HND’s are not accepted for our Postgraduate Degrees.

Please note that the entry criteria detailed below is for the majority of courses, however some courses such as BSc (Hons) Nursing, BSc (Hons) Professional Practice (Healthcare), BSc (Hons) Social Work and BSc (Hons) Aviation Management with Pilot Training may require higher academic and English levels.
