Buckinghamshire New University’s expert psychologist and Head of School to feature in season two of BBC’s ‘Uncanny’ series and national live tour

Head of School of Human and Social Sciences at Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) and psychologist Dr °ä¾±²¹°ùá²Ô O’Keeffe will feature in BBC series Uncanny for a second time as the series has been renewed.

The series follows the successful podcast where the host Danny Robins investigates chilling first-hand stories of paranormal encounters. °ä¾±²¹°ùá²Ô will return to the show to talk about the Psychology (and Parapsychology) of people’s haunting experiences, delving into the possibility that such events could occur.

°ä¾±²¹°ùá²Ô will also feature in up to five appearances of the Uncanny: I Know What I Saw live tour that began in October 2023, including those at the Wycombe Swan Theatre on Sunday 23 June and the Oxford Playhouse Theatre (matinee) on Sunday 14 July.

Previously, °ä¾±²¹°ùá²Ô has said:

[Uncanny] has provided me with amazing insight into people’s fascination with the paranormal and our obsession with the unknown - one of the oldest curiosities that we have –what happens to us when we die? Is there an afterlife, do we turn into ghosts? I meet people all the time who are intensely curious about what they see as the unknown or the ‘dark side’ and that drives them to experience situations that are uncomfortable or scary.
