BNU shortlisted in three Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2025 categories
Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) has been shortlisted in three categories in this year’s Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCA), the leading higher education awards ceremony based solely on student reviews.
This year, the WUSCA team visited over 100 university campuses across the UK and collected over 36,000 verified reviews from students.
Together with representatives from WhatUni, the Marketing team and Student Ambassadors travelled BNU’s corridors and classrooms to gather hundreds of student testimonials on BNU. Academic colleagues were also instrumental in promoting the reviews to current students to ensure everyone had the opportunity to make their voice count.
BNU is proud to be nominated for three awards:
- Lecturers and Teaching Quality
- Students Union
- Student Support
This is a remarkable achievement and a powerful testament to the exceptional student experience we provide at BNU, as recognised by our students themselves.
This year’s results follows strong performances in recent years with nominations for Student Support and Students’ Union in 2024, an award win for our cost-of-living support in 2023 and finishing runners-up for ‘Lecturers and Teaching Quality’ in 2022.
Now in its 12th year, the WUSCAs are the only higher education annual awards that are based solely on the views of current university students studying in the UK and allows new students to access honest, unbiased data to make the right choices about their future on the Whatuni platform.
