BNU launches Research Centre for Innovation and Sustainability Excellence

BNU鈥檚 Research Centre for Innovation and Sustainability Excellence (CISE) was launched by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Damien Page鈥 at the Sustainability Conference hosted by the School of Business and Law.

Professor Page hailed the Research Centre as a faculty to 鈥榚ncourage dialogue and an exchange of ideas while looking to future research opportunities鈥, highlighting its capability to look to social change and how to 鈥榯ackle the pernicious problems of society, and address sustainability.鈥

The Research Centre aims to promote and advance cutting edge research, education and skill training in business innovation and sustainability for local, national and international partners.

Its work is underpinned by the need for consideration for environmental, social and economic limits that inform its co-design and co-creation research and training programmes to produce economic value while addressing societal needs.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor also announced the new MSc Sustainable Business course, starting in January 2025.
