Associate Professor Kalimah Ibrahiim recognised with Merit award by Royal College of Occupational Therapists

Kalimah Ibrahiim, Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy at Buckinghamshire New University, has been recognised by the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) in its 2024 Merit Awards. 

Kalimah is recognised by RCOT for her commitment to the professional, with a spokesperson citing 鈥渉er advocacy for occupational therapy throughout her career鈥 as instrumental in her selection for this prestigious award, also stating 鈥淜alimah鈥檚 active participation various volunteer roles underscores her dedication to the profession.鈥

Kalimah is one of fourteen recipients profiled in the RCOT Merit Awards this year. She said: 鈥淭his award is a recognition of the dedication and passion I have poured into my journey. It fuels my motivation to continue striving for excellence and inspires me to make an even greater impact in the future. I鈥檓 truly honoured and grateful for this acknowledgement.鈥

The RCOT Fellowship and Merit Awards are an annual event whereby the organisation celebrates excellence in occupational therapy nationally.
