Why I chose Psychology and Criminology at BNU
Why I chose Psychology and Criminology at BNU
Passion for the course
One of the reasons I chose to study Psychology and Criminology at BNU is because of the passion I have for the human mind and behaviour. I have always been intrigued by the mental processes of homo sapiens and animals, and based on the course details, BNU fully aligned with my interests, hence the reason why I decided to pursue this course. In addition to this, BNU has facilities such as the Psychology Lab so that the students can experiment with theories and gain as much knowledge and experience during their stay.

Foundation Year Availability
Another reason why I chose to study Psychology and Criminology at BNU is because there was a foundation year available. Numerous other universities that I was interested in had this course available but did not have a foundation year. I did not attend college or have A levels, so a foundation year was important upon my entry and thankfully BNU offered this.

BNU Careers Focus
Another reason why I chose to Study Psychology and Criminology at BNU is because the university is employability focused and aims to help you reach your designated career path. At BNU there are many opportunities to develop your future employability skills. Additionally, BNU has a Career Success team that helps with this and provides services such as crafting CVs, one-to-one careers appointments with career advisors and much more.

Student’s Experiences
Another reason why I chose to study Psychology and Criminology at BNU is based on the study experiences of current and past students in this course. Most of the students had positive reviews of their past/current experiences and were glad about their choice. They also explained that the tutors and lectures were always on hand to offer help so they could reach their fullest potential, which all met my preferred interests.
