5 Reasons to Study Business Management at BNU

5 Reasons to Study Business Management at BNU

Get a head start

Studying a course with a professional body accreditation gives the opportunity not just only get a degree but, when graduating, also to have a CMI (Chartered Management Institute) Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. An accredited degree from a professional institute is an advantage when applying for managerial roles or being promoted because it shows you have the capability to take on a senior role and you will have the confidence that you already have the skills needed to step into the role when being promoted.

You are at the heart of everything

Here at BNU there is a focus on student experience, and everyone works hard to always ensure that you can receive continual and first-hand help and support whenever you need throughout your degree. When studying at BNU, you will not be left alone during your studies to complete them; the advantage is that when needing help, it is always easy to reach your lecturers, and they will be more than happy to give it to you. Most of the time, the wait until help is received is quite fast.

Gain real-life experience

While studying in your second year at the University, you will get the opportunity to work with real clients. From the beginning of this you will meet with clients, consult with them and develop a working strategy to meet their needs.

While working for the clients you’ll help them to implement changes in their business to ensure their needs are met and challenges solved. This will give the work experience needed at the same time as studying. When applying for jobs this will boost your interview material and potentially help you to go further.

Cross-collaboration between courses

When attending classes, you will get the chance to meet with other students from different courses that share the same module. Also, this is a perfect chance to socialise and make friends with students from other courses who you may not meet otherwise. I have also found that working with students from different courses allows me to learn from their perspective and see how their course relates to the module shared.

Study relevant modules

Every module that is part of this degree has been specifically designed to reflect actual issues happening around the world. Meaning you will not miss out on what's happening in the industry. It is also a great opportunity to research and discuss how you would approach a problem and how it would be resolved. This will help form academic answers and learn to listen and respect others' opinions.
