Biography

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2010, I was a Senior Lecturer in Nursing and Applied Sciences at the University of West London.

I studied for my BSc in Nursing Sciences at Manchester University, my MA at University of West London, and I hold postgraduate qualifications in research studies and teaching. My two main areas of interest are management of Type 2 Diabetes and leadership and organisational behaviour with reference to tribalism in professional groups.

I am an RGN (Adult), holding 3 post registration nursing qualifications as well as being a Registered Nurse Tutor (RNT) and practice educator. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority, an NMC registrant and a member of the Primary Care Diabetes Society (PCDS)
