Gordon Cameron
Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2018, I was a primary teacher in key stages 1 and 2, having previously worked as a specialist youth sports coach. Previously, I enjoyed a business career for an international IT software developer, which included several years working in South East Asia.
I studied for my Qualified Teacher Status at Reading University and my specialist area of interest is excellence in primary education.
My specialist knowledge has led me to work with most primary schools in the South Buckinghamshire area by establishing partnerships through Chepping View Primary Academy as part of a Primary SCITT programme (School Centred Initial Teacher Training).
My career highlights until now have been the countless times when I have seen children growing in confidence and inspired by what they are learning.
