Mrs Borbala Kenez-Burns
Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2023, I worked as an Early Years Lead 9leading Nursery and Reception) in a primary academy. Before that, I worked in early years for several years, in a variety of roles and settings.
I studied for my BA (Hons) degree at BNU and my specialist area of interest/research is early years. It is interesting because despite often being overlooked, it is the most fundamental developmental stage in early childhood.
I am a member of ECDN.
My specialist knowledge has led me to work with external stakeholders such as the Canadian company, Captains & Poets on projects such as research into social and emotional learning and teacher training companies such as Astra to deliver ITT conferences
My career highlight was to return as an alumni to teach the future generations of teachers and nursery educators.
