Staff Profile

Dr Adedoyin Elujoba
Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2024, I worked as Senior Physiotherapist with the NHS and private health companies. My main specialties were in Musculoskeletal, Paediatric and Frailty.
I studied for my Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Physiotherapy from Obafemi Awolowo University Nigeria in 2006 and 2014 respectively before having my Post Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the National University of Medical Sciences, Madrid. Spain in 2018. My specialist areas of interest are in Musculoskeletal and Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation. It is interesting because it gives the opportunity to manage a broad range of conditions which are prevalent today. It also gives you the skill required to help the greater population of patients needing physiotherapy.
I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Health and Care professions and Pain Physiotherapy Society and Nigerian Physiotherapists in the UK.
My specialist knowledge has led me to work with various socioeconomic groups such as athletes, professionals in business and education.
My career highlight is my recent switch from clinicals to the academic and my ongoing PhD in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
